Utilities
**Rubbish - Granger provides the rubbish service in the Village. They will only collect rubbish from their bins, which must be placed within one foot from the edge of the road with the bar facing the road (there are arrows on the bin). If you need more than one bin, please contact the Clerk at [email protected]. Rubbish is picked up on Thursdays.
The fiscal year for the Village is from March 1 to February 28. Utility billing is now aligned with the quarters that follow this fiscal year instead of the calendar year and residents are billed for services used during that quarter.
Quarterly breakdown:
March 1 - May 31
June 1 - August 31
September 1 - November 31
December 1 - February 28
Sewer - $66 per quarter
Rubbish - $36 per quarter
Water - $63 per quarter
Quarterly billing is sent out within two weeks of the quarter end and is due by the next billing to avoid late fees. Any delinquent amounts from the previous fiscal year as of June 1 will be turned over to Ingham Township to be added to taxes.
